Fuzuli airport will be an international airport and can host aircraft weighing up to 400 tons, Valeh Amiraslanov, a representative of Azerbaijan Airlines, told journalists.
"The airport will be commissioned in the fall and receive passengers after that. The first test flight is scheduled for September 5. However, the laboratory test will be carried out before the test flight - on August 25. The airport will receive the passengers after the fall since there is remaining work to be completed in the terminal area. Nevertheless, the runways will be fully ready soon, and the airport will be ready to perform test flights," he noted.
