ADY Container launches cargo transportation on Istanbul-Tashkent and Mersin-Tashkent routes

ADY Container LLC, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, launches cargo transportation by container block train on the Istanbul-Tashkent and Mersin-Tashkent routes, Report informs, citing the company.
Cargo transportation will be carried out via the CASCA+ multimodal transport route, created as part of the international multimodal route "Asia-Pacific countries - China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan - Turkmenistan - Azerbaijan - Georgia - Türkiye - Europe."
Last year, the first container block train arrived in Baku, sent from Uzbekistan to Europe along this route. The containers were delivered from the port of Turkmenbashi to the port of Baku by a feeder vessel Balkan.
