Azerbaijan doubles gold and silver productions

In January-October this year, Azerbaijan produced 2,096,100 tons of copper ores and concentrates, 96.1% more than last year.
Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee, as of November 1, the country had 239 tons of finished copper ores and concentrates.
In addition, 6,834,800 kg of precious metal ores and concentrates were produced in Azerbaijan for ten months, which is twice as much as in the same period 2020.
At the end of October, finished products made up 456.8 kg.
In particular, 2,876,800 kg of gold (96.1% growth from last year) and 3,958,000 kg of silver (2.1 times more) were extracted from precious metals during the reporting period.
As of November 1, the country had 212.5 kg of gold and 244.3 kg of silver.
