Interior Ministry unveils provisions for holding festivities from September 1

Starting from September 1, new rules have been established for organizing and holding weddings, engagements, birthdays, and other celebrations during a pandemic.
The head of the press service of the Interior Ministry, Major Elshad Hajiyev, told Report that from September 1, regardless of the location (cafe, restaurant, wedding hall, yard, cave, etc.), the festivities can be held with the attendance of up to 150 people.
He noted that all guests over the age of 18 participating in the festivities must have a COVID-19 passport:
"There is no compulsory use of personal respiratory protection means for guests attending the festivities. The registration on the portal icaze-gov.az should be held only for public catering establishments," he said.
