XPeng to begin mass production of humanoid robots by end of 2026

China's technology company XPeng plans to start mass production of its IRON humanoid robots at the end of 2026.
According to Report, citing the company's press release, the initial model has already gone through the automated assembly process and rolled off the production line.
XPeng stated that it has launched the world's first automated production line for high‑level, general‑purpose humanoid robots. The automation level of the line exceeds 80 percent.
The company plans to move to mass production of the robots by the end of 2026 and begin supplying them to the market in 2027.
