WHO Director-General: Coronavirus pandemic almost over

"The COVID-19 cases have dropped sharply. The pandemic is almost over," Tedros Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), said at a panel on "Global Health Governance" held as part of the IX Global Baku Forum.
The problem remains in low-income countries, he said: "From this point of view, vaccination is very important."
