TABIB: 24% of Azerbaijani population vaccinated

"Vaccination is not 100% effective. Infections and complications were observed in 0.6% of vaccinated people in Azerbaijan," Yagut Garayeva, head of the Disease Prevention and Control Department of the Azerbaijani Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB), said at a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers on 20 August, Report informs.
According to her, a total of 6 million doses of vaccine were injected:
"Today, 24% of our population can be considered vaccinated," she said.
