"We view Azerbaijan as a very important partner of Lithuania in the region," Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said following the meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.
He said Lithuania is interested in deeper and stronger ties and partnership with Azerbaijan.
Landsbergis noted that this is not his first visit to Baku. He was here 15 years ago, at the onset of cooperation between the countries.
He stressed Lithuania's readiness to assist in the process of reconstructing the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
