Azerbaijan top venue for WUF forums, Hikmat Hajiyev says

Azerbaijan is one of the most suitable venues for hosting the World Urban Forum (WUF), thanks to its experience in the field of urban development and territorial reconstruction, Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, said at an event within the framework of WUF13 in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, the forum provides an opportunity for representatives of various countries to exchange experience and discuss pressing issues of urbanism.

"Azerbaijan is also ready to share its experience. We are open to discussions on the topic of urban development. Our country can also become one of the exemplary models in post-conflict reconstruction processes," Hikmet Hajiyev emphasized.
