Ali Asadov: Azerbaijan's trade relations with CIS countries show positive dynamics

Trade and economic relations between Azerbaijan and CIS countries are steadily strengthening, showing positive dynamics.

Report's Kazakhstan bureau informs that Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov said this on Friday while speaking at a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

"In 2025, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and CIS member states increased by more than 10%," Asadov said.

According to him, there is still significant potential for further expanding mutual trade, investment cooperation and the implementation of joint projects in various fields.

The prime minister stressed that Azerbaijan consistently adheres to the principles of good-neighborliness, mutual respect and constructive partnership within the CIS.

"We intend to continue strengthening cooperation between CIS member states in the interests of stability, sustainable development and the well-being of our peoples," Ali Asadov added.
