Sabah reach Champions League playoff stage for first time

Sabah defeated Denmark's Aarhus in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, Report informs.
The return match, held at Bank Respublika Arena in Azerbaijan, ended in a 4-0 victory for the hosts.
Veljko Simic opened the scoring in the 59th minute. Steve Solvet doubled Sabah's lead in the 67th minute, before Joy-Lance Mickels made it 3-0 in the 78th minute. Xander Severina scored the fourth goal in the 89th minute.
Sabah had lost the first match 2-1, but managed to advance to the next round.
As a result, the Owls qualified for the UEFA Champions League playoff stage for the first time in their history.
The Azerbaijani champions will face the winner of the tie between Hapoel Be'er Sheva of Israel and Crvena Zvezda of Serbia in the next round.
