US gets 2.5-fold rise in oil imports from Saudi Arabia

Crude oil export from Saudi Arabia to the United States in the last week increased by 2.5-fold to 368,000 barrels, which is the highest volume since November 2020, Report informs, citing the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
Remind that the oil imports from Saudi Arabia reduced to zero during the last week of 2020 – for the first time in the past 35 years. The highest volume of oil imported from Saudi Arabia was 2.047 million b/d in the first week of 2012.
City analysts said the United States turned into a net importer of oil last week with a quantity of 2.2 million barrels per day.
