Azerbaijan posts over 3% growth in Q1 gas production

Azerbaijan produced 12.2 billion cubic meters of gas in January-March 2023, up 3.4% or 356 million cubic meters from a year earlier, Report informs, citing the Energy Ministry.
Of this, 3.3 billion cubic meters were extracted from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block of fields (-0.2 bcm or 6.06%), 6.7 billion cubic meters from Shah Deniz (+0.3 bcm or 4.7%), and 2.2 billion cubic meters by SOCAR (+0.3 bcm or 15.8%).
