Sleet, thunderstorms, hail expected in mountainous districts of Azerbaijan

Intermittent precipitation is expected in some mountainous and foothill regions of Azerbaijan on April 28-29, mainly during the daytime, Report informs, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service of the country’s Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry.

Precipitation will be heavy in some districts; thunderstorms, hail are possible. Sleet is expected in high-mountainous districts.

East wind will blow on April 30 and its speed will increase to 18-23 m/s in some parts of the country. The water level of some rivers might rise.
