Hunting season to start in Azerbaijan next month

The start of the hunting season in Azerbaijan is scheduled for early October, said the head of the Service of Protection of Biodiversity of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Firuddin Aliyev.

According to him, it will be allowed to hunt birds during this period.

The hunting season is usually declared open at the beginning of September. This year, due to forest fires, the opening of the season was postponed.
