Azerbaijan, Turkey to cooperate in meteorology, forestry

The delegation headed by Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey Bekir Pakdemirli, who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan, has met with representatives of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Report informs referring to the ministry.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on forest protection, water resources management, mitigation of the impact of climate change, hydrometeorology and other issues of mutual interest, as well as discussed prospects for further cooperation.
Also, as part of the meeting, two-year (2021-2023) work programs were signed for the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two ministries for cooperation in the field of meteorology and forestry.
