Hulusi Akar: This is not only victory over Armenia

This victory of the heroic Azerbaijani Army was achieved not only through 44 days of struggle but also as a result of 30 years of determination, confidence, and perseverance, Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said at an event in Baku on November 8 - Victory Day, Report informs.

He said this is not only a victory over Armenia:

"This victory was also the best response to those who turned a blind eye to injustice and lawlessness and remained silent for many years. Dear brothers and sisters, as always, we are with you in this just struggle, and your joy is our joy and your sorrow is ours. As a nation, we try to support our brothers and sisters with all our might because we are like the branches of a great plane tree that eats from the same root, we are the children of a great nation. We are the grandchildren of Alparslan, Nizami Ganjavi, Nasimi, Fuzuli, Dada Gorgud. Although the events in the historical process have created some obstacles between Azerbaijan and Turkey, they have never locked the hearts of the peoples of the two countries, which have the same religion, language, and nationality and are linked by the historical brotherhood."
