Azerbaijan resumes purchase of almonds from UAE

Azerbaijan imported 275.7 tons (-21%) of almonds (shelled and peeled) worth $1.6 million (+32%) in the first half of this year, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
Of this, 246.6 tons of products (+25.5%) worth $1.4 million (+40%) were imported from the US, 17.3 tons (-35%) worth $95,000 (-33.6%) from Spain, 5.1 tons (+64 times) worth $33,000 (+25 times) from Australia, 2.6 tons (+26.4%) worth $17,000 (+30.8%) from Turkiye, and 2 tons (+43%) worth $14,000 (+30 %) from Uzbekistan.
After a three-year hiatus, Azerbaijan imported 100 kg of almonds worth $600 from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
