Azerbaijan posts increase in value of cargo transportation by sea

During January-February 2024, Azerbaijan transported 286,467 tons of cargo worth $252,936,000 by sea.
Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee, that this is respectively 30% less and 3.1% more than the same period in 2023.
Last month, the country exported 9,120 tons of cargo (4.8% more than in the same period last year) worth $27,135,000 (+43.5%) by sea, and imported 277,346 tons of cargo (-31 .6%) worth $225,800,000 (-0.2%).
