Number of active COVID cases exceeds 30,000 in Georgia

Over the past day, 2,654 more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Georgia.

The country has reported 1,319 COVID recoveries and 33 deaths, Report's Georgian Service informs with reference to the Georgian Government.

Georgia has recorded a total of 422,188 cases of coronavirus infection since the pandemic began. To date, 384,712 of them have recovered, while 5,853 have died.

As of August 1, there are 31,597 active COVID cases in the country.
