New speaker elected to Georgian parliament

Kacha Kuchava was elected as the new speaker of the Georgian Parliament.
Report informs that 86 MPs voted for him, while 6 MPs voted against Kuchava.
Former chairman of Parliament A. Talakvadze resigned on April 24.
Kuchava has been represented in parliament since 2016, as the vice-speaker - since December last year. In January this year, the 42-year-old politician joined the Political Council of the ruling Georgian Dream Party.
