New PM appointed to Kyrgyz Republic

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has signed a decree appointing Ulukbek Maripov as Prime Minister, Report mentions, citing the official website of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Sadyr Japarov also appointed other members of the government.
According to the order, Taalaibek Omuraliev and Ruslan Kazakbayev were relieved of their posts and appointed Minister of Defense and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Ulukbek Maripov was born in 1979 in the Nookat district of the Osh region of the Kyrgyz Republic. He graduated from the Finance and Credit and Law faculties of Osh State University and the University of Technology. From 2011 to 2015, he worked as an aide to former President Almazbek Atambayev.
