US Central Command rejects Iran claim on closure of Strait of Hormuz

US Central Command, CENTCOM, has rejected Iran's claim that it closed the Strait of Hormuz, Report informs, citing CENTCOM's post on X.
"Once again, the Iranian government claims it has closed the Strait of Hormuz. This is false," CENTCOM said.
According to the command, the Strait of Hormuz remains open for commercial vessel transit and Iran does not control the waterway.
CENTCOM said thousands of ships have passed through the international waterway over the past four months.
