New Chief of Staff appointed to Turkish Armed Forces

Army General Metin Gurak has been appointed a new Chief of Staff to the Turkish Armed Forces.
Report informs that the decision was made at the annual meeting of the Supreme Military Council chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on August 3.
Until now, Gurak was the commander of the Second Army Corps.
