Qatar fully resumes maritime navigation

Qatar's Ministry of Transport has announced the full resumption of maritime navigation, Report informs, citing the ministry's statement on X.
The ministry said that maritime navigation activities may resume as normal for all types of marine craft and vessels starting today.
The Qatari Ministry of Transport also called on everyone to comply with applicable maritime rules and instructions to ensure the highest levels of safety and security for all trips.
Qatar imposed restrictions on navigation for sailing and fishing boats on June 29 until further notice. The reasons for the decision were not disclosed, but it was taken a day after a Qatari citizen died on board a vessel after being injured in military operations in the region.
