848 more people contract coronavirus in Georgia

Georgia has reported 848 new coronavirus cases, 1,231 recoveries, and 15 deaths in one day, Report informs, citing the country's National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.

Overall, Georgia has reported 388,329 infections since the pandemic onset. Of these, 366,250 have recovered, and 5,566 people have succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

The number of active patients is currently 16,487.
