Nadir Hasanov ends campaign at U17 World Championships

Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Nadir Hasanov has concluded his run at the U17 Wrestling World Championships in Baku.
According to Report, competing in the 71 kg category, Hasanov was defeated in the round of 16 by Ukrainian wrestler Roman Ivanyk, with a score of 0:9.
Earlier, in the qualification round, Hasanov had secured a strong 10:1 victory over Tajik opponent Mahdi Azizboev.
The U17 Wrestling World Championships are underway at the National Gymnastics Arena, bringing together nearly 700 young wrestlers from over 60 countries. Azerbaijan is being represented by a total of 29 athletes at the tournament.
