Ukraine thanks Azerbaijan for assistance to energy sector

Ukraine has thanked Azerbaijan for providing assistance with energy equipment amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy said in a post on X, according to Report.
The ministry noted that since the beginning of 2026, energy equipment has been provided to Ukraine by partners from the European Union, Azerbaijan, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Slovakia, the United States, Türkiye, Finland, France, the Philippines, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan, Czechia, Poland, Cyprus and China.
Since March 2022, a total of 2,542 humanitarian shipments of energy equipment, weighing more than 32,300 tons, have arrived in Ukraine under the coordination of the country's Ministry of Energy. More than 28,900 tons of equipment have already been distributed among the regions.
"We are deeply grateful to all our partners for their assistance in maintaining the operation of Ukraine's energy system," the statement said.
