Merkel: Necessary to preserve agreement with Turkey on refugees

Germany considers it necessary to preserve and further develop the deal with Turkey on refugees, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said at a joint press conference with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Report informs referring to TASS.
“We are still working on the decisions of the [upcoming EU] summit. I think this agreement between the EU and Turkey is important, and it should be further developed. I am convinced of this,” Merkel said.
