Media announces Biden's candidate for US Secretary of State

According to preliminary data, US President-elect Joe Biden has determined his candidate for Secretary of State, Report says, citing Hill.
The publication wrote that the name of the candidate would be announced next week:
"It is unknown who Bayden's candidate will be. However, a former Barack Obama administration official confirmed to Hill that Tony Blinke, a veteran diplomat and a longtime ally of Biden, was the front-runner."
Blinken previously served as First Deputy Secretary of State.
Potential nominees for Secretary of State include Senators Chris Coons and Chris Murphy, former First Deputy Secretary of State and Ambassador to Russia William Burns, and former National Security Adviser to former President Barack Obama Susan Rice.
