Lukashenko: War in Ukraine could end in coming months

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko believes that the Russia-Ukraine war could end in the coming months.

According to Report, citing BELTA, he made the remarks at the 4th Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.

"The war in Ukraine will end in the coming months. This is my personal opinion. That's it: there is no strength, no resources, everyone is tired," the Belarusian leader said.

Lukashenko also believes that further escalation of the conflict could lead to World War III.

"If we do not stop and continue down the path of escalation, we will inevitably end up in World War III. Even major politicians are now openly saying what this could lead to. And you cannot hide from a nuclear strike across the ocean," he said.
