Israel lifts most COVID-related restrictions

Israeli Health Minister Yuli Edelstein said on Sunday that most of the restrictions imposed in the country due to the coronavirus pandemic will be lifted on June 1, Report informs with reference to The Times of Israel.
“Israel is returning to normal life,” he said.
The minister noted that from June 1, it will no longer be necessary to carry green vaccination passports, and the restrictions on the number of people who can be together indoors and outdoors will be lifted.
Edelstein clarified that the requirement to wear masks indoors will remain in effect for at least two more weeks, and restrictions on travel abroad will also remain in force.
