India: Truck blast kills at least eight people

At least eight people died after gelatin sticks loaded on a truck exploded near Hunsodu, 7km from Shimoga, Report mentions, referring to The Times of India.
The truck was transporting gelatin sticks or stone-blasting material to a quarry in the region owned by a local business. The vehicle is believed to have been parked at the time, and the laborers were resting. The accident damaged nearby buildings and broke windows.
The publication did not disclose information about the victims and other details.
