Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order posthumously awarding third-degree "For Service to the Motherland" orders to servicemen and a civilian employee of the State Border Service, Report informs.
The awards were granted to those who demonstrated courage and bravery during military operations for the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and while carrying out duties to protect the state border.
The award recipients were killed while honorably fulfilling their duties and carrying out tasks assigned to their military units.
