By the end of this week, the Indian Armed Forces plan to hold the first in the history of the country military space exercises called IndSpaceEx, Report reports citing TASS.
"Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi noted that the tests of anti-satellite weapons conducted in March 2019 would increase the country's defense capability. In accordance with this, IndSpaceEx will demonstrate the possible answers of the Indian armed forces to the escalation of the conflict in space," the government said.
It was also noted that due to the growing offensive ability of the PRC, India "is obliged to create conditions for the protection of its interests in space."
