PPP project's validity period in Azerbaijan to be 49 years

The validity period of the public-private partnership project in Azerbaijan will be 49 years, Report informs, citing the new bill "On Public-Private Partnership".
According to the bill, this period is determined by the relevant authority, taking into account the following:
- the duration of the infrastructure to be created as a result of public-private partnership;
- the form and volume of investment by the private partner, including the return period, conditions, and project profitability.
Public-private partnership projects may also be submitted by bidders in accordance with Article 10 of the Law.
