Vitorino: IOM ready to support Azerbaijan in return of internally displaced persons

The International Organization for Migration has the necessary experience to support Azerbaijan in returning former internally displaced persons to the liberated territories, Antonio Vitorino, Director General of the International Organization for Migration, told journalists, according to Report.

He said the organization can support Azerbaijan, including providing the necessary technical support.

According to Vitorino, IOM and Azerbaijan cooperate very productively not only in migration issues.

He also noted Azerbaijan's important role in the international migration system.

The proof of this is the memorandum signed today, he said, adding that IOM is very pleased to cooperate with the Government of Azerbaijan.
