Turkish, Uzbek FMs discuss Karabakh

"In the coming period, we want to sign a preferential trade agreement, to increase our trade, and after signing, we want to start discussing a comprehensive free trade agreement. We are one of the top five major trading partners of Uzbekistan and the largest investor in Uzbekistan," said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, who is on a visit to Tashkent.
"Today, we exchanged views on strengthening communication lines, defense industry, military security relations, expanding our educational and cultural ties, and others. We also discussed regional issues such as Afghanistan, Nagorno-Karabakh, the Turkish Council, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation," he stressed.
