Baku Metro serves over 16.6 million passengers in July

Baku Metro CJSC transported 16,698,023 passengers in July this year, according to the company.

The figure represents a 10.31% increase compared with the same period last year.

The Koroghlu station was the busiest during the month, serving 1,630,048 passengers. The highest daily passenger flow was recorded on July 1, when 649,974 people used the metro.

During the reporting period, a total of 8,567,107 payments were made via NFC and QR ticket systems. This accounted for 52.99% of all paid metro journeys during the month.

A total of 94 passengers used the Accessible Metro service in July.
