Azerbaijan imports $24.8M in building materials from Türkiye

Azerbaijan imported cement, glass, ceramic and earthenware products worth $24.8 million from Türkiye during the first seven months of the year, according to data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly.

The figure was 0.2% lower than in the same period last year.

In July alone, Türkiye exported $3.41 million worth of cement, glass, ceramic and earthenware products to Azerbaijan, marking a 16.3% increase compared with the same month a year earlier.

Türkiye's total exports of cement, glass, ceramic and earthenware products reached $2.65 billion in January-July, up 1.8% year-on-year. In July, exports in the category totaled $424.8 million, down 0.6% from a year earlier.

The largest importers of these products from Türkiye during the seven-month period were the United States, with imports worth $434.81 million, followed by Italy at $185.06 million and Germany at $142.76 million.
