In 30 years, agriculture will require significantly less human labor than it does today, Lewis Dijkstra, representative of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, during a discussion within the framework of WUF13 in Baku.
"We believe that in 30 years, agriculture will require less human labor than it does now. This is already becoming a reality," he noted.
According to the expert, modern cities are more resilient to change and adapt more quickly to new technological and social processes than rural areas.
"However, the situation in rural areas is different. In this sense, I think artificial intelligence, which has become one of the most relevant topics of our time, will also be more favorable for cities," Lewis Dijkstra said.
