Azerbaijan and Germany to expand cooperation on sustainable water management

Azerbaijan and Germany have agreed to broaden cooperation on global and regional issues, including the sustainable management of water resources, Report informs.

The commitment is outlined in the Joint Declaration on a Strategic Agenda for the Bilateral Partnership between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Azerbaijan, signed in Berlin on July 21.

Under the declaration, the two countries will promote bilateral trade and investment opportunities, continue the work of the German-Azerbaijani High-Level Working Group on Trade and Investment as a mechanism for strengthening economic ties, and make full use of cooperation potential in areas such as agriculture, sustainable economic development, green energy, and green and low-carbon hydrogen.
