AYNA: Around 179,000 passengers transported within WUF13 in Baku

During the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, 10,220 bus trips operated between transportation hubs and the event venue, transporting approximately 179,000 passengers, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA).
A total of nine transportation hubs, two endpoints, and more than 67 stops operated during WUF13. From the start of service (May 12–22), a total of 180 buses were in operation.
The management of these routes and the execution of transportation operations were monitored 24/7 by the AYNA Monitoring Center. Approximately 1,500 employees, including drivers and management personnel, were involved in transportation operations.
