Azerbaijani wrestlers claim two more medals at Islamic Games

Azerbaijani female wrestler Leyla won the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkiye.
Report informs the 53 kg athlete won the final against Aktenge Keunimjayeva from Uzbekistan with a score of 6:1.
Azerbaijani male freestyle wrestler Islam Bazarganov reached the final match. The 61 kg athlete faced Jahangirmirza Turabov from Uzbekistan in the decisive match.
Although the score ended with a draw of 6:6, Bazarganov, who lost to his opponent based on the point principle, claimed the silver medal.
Earlier, Haji Aliyev (65 kg), Turan Bayramov (74 kg) and Maria Stadnik (50 kg) won gold, Abubakr Abakarov (86 kg) and Alyona Kolesnik (59 kg) won silver, Aliabbas Rzazadeh (57 kg) won a bronze medal.
