Azerbaijan boosts clothing imports from Türkiye by 26.4%

Azerbaijan imported clothing worth $28.79 million from Türkiye in the first half of this year, up 26.4% compared with the same period last year, Report informs, citing the Turkish Exporters Assembly.

In June alone, Türkiye exported $3.699 million worth of clothing to Azerbaijan, marking a 32% year-on-year increase.

During January-June, Türkiye's total clothing exports declined by 1.6% from a year earlier to $7.98 billion. However, exports rebounded in June, rising 15.1% year-on-year to $1.376 billion.

Germany remained the largest importer of Turkish clothing, purchasing goods worth $1.174 billion despite a 14% annual decline. The Netherlands ranked second with imports totaling $912.56 million, down 4.1%, while Spain imported $851.116 million worth of clothing, an increase of 6.6% compared with the previous year.
