African country refuses to participate in Tokyo 2020

Guinea will not compete in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, Report informs, citing France-Presse.
The country's Minister of Sports Sanoussy Sow has announced that they will not participate in the Olympics due to the coronavirus pandemic.
AFP reports that Guinea has given up on Tokyo 2020 because of financial problems.
The opening ceremony will take place on July 23. The Olympics will end on August 8. According to the Committee, the race may be canceled if the infection increases.
