Iran says US strikes killed 18, injured 108

Eighteen people were killed and 108 injured in US strikes on Iranian positions near the Strait of Hormuz, Report informs, citing IRIB.
Iranian Health Minister Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi said the casualties resulted from attacks on several provinces overnight.
"Eighteen people were killed and 108 of our compatriots were injured in attacks on various provinces of the country last night," he said.
On September 1, US forces carried out airstrikes on Iranian targets in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran subsequently launched retaliatory strikes against US bases in the Middle East.
