Trump proposes renaming Strait of Hormuz after himself

US President Donald Trump has proposed renaming the Strait of Hormuz as the "Trump Strait," Report informs, citing his post on Truth Social.
Trump said that since the strait was now under US control, it should be renamed after him.
On September 1, US forces carried out airstrikes on Iranian targets in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran subsequently launched retaliatory strikes against US bases in the Middle East.
