Ukraine detains about 40 Azerbaijanis for illegal residence

The local police and migration authorities at the Troeschina market in the Desnyansky district of Ukraine's Kyiv, Ukraine, detained about 40 Azerbaijanis for illegal (undocumented) residence in the country, the Eastern European Bureau of Report informs.
The detainees are held at the Ukrainian State Migration Service's detention center for migrants for gradual deportation.
The Ukrainian government regularly conducts raids to check the requirements of migration legislation. Among the undocumented foreigners found, there are still those who carry passports of the former USSR.
