Huawei to build first plant in Europe

China's Huawei Technologies Co. will establish the first production facility in Europe, Report informs, citing the company's press release.
The venue is a shopping park in the northeastern French city of Bryumat. The investment in the plant will be 200 million euros. It will create 300 jobs in the first phase and 500 in the long run.
The company will produce mobile networking solutions worth 1 billion euros a year for Huawei's European customers.
In Europe, the corporation currently has 23 research centers, more than 100 partner universities, and more than 3,100 suppliers.
Huawei announced plans to build its first plant in Europe in France last year. Europe is the largest foreign market for the company amid US sanctions against Huawei.
